Looking for a clean, respectful house

Hi, I'm 30 and work full-time as a Business Credit Specialist at Octopus Energy. I've been with the company for two years and have progressed with salary in my role. I work Monday to Friday (9:00–17:30) and, although I'm hybrid, I choose to work from the office as much as I can because I like having a good separation between work and home – it helps me get my steps in too, which is a nice bonus!

Outside of work, I like to stay active. I go to the gym with a personal trainer during the week and try to get out hiking most weekends. I only drink occasionally and generally prefer a quieter lifestyle.

I'm looking for an en-suite room in a friendly but independent professional house. It's nice when people have a chat in the kitchen or cook together occasionally, while still respecting each other's own space.

As a housemate, I'd describe myself as considerate, reliable and easy to live with. I don't expect a house to be perfect, but I do believe everyone should do their bit to keep it clean and tidy. I firmly believe shared spaces should be left ready for the next person to use. Small things like cleaning up after yourself, being mindful of noise go a long way towards making a house feel like home.

I'll happily go out of my way for a housemate where I can and within reason. For me, a good house share isn't about being best friends; it's about being considerate, communicating well and making home somewhere everyone enjoys coming back to.

Ideally, I'm looking to live with other professionals who are around my age or older and have experience of house sharing. From my experience, living with people at a similar stage of life who value respecting shared spaces tends to create the kind of relaxed, considerate home I'm looking for.

My long-term goal is to buy my own home, so I'm looking for somewhere I can happily settle in for the next few years rather than just somewhere to sleep. Happy to provide strong references.
