PhD researcher looking for a room in Manchester

Hello!
I'm Erick, a PhD researcher from Brazil, and I'll be in Manchester from 12 October 2026 for a six-month visiting PhD research stay at Manchester Metropolitan University.

I'm looking for a comfortable, clean and quiet shared home, ideally with a small number of housemates.

I’m friendly, sociable and easy-going. I really enjoy art, theatre, music, reading, films and series, and I’m also looking forward to getting to know Manchester, its culture and the UK during my stay.
I enjoy having a friendly relationship with the people I live with, while also respecting everyone’s privacy and personal space. I value open communication, mutual respect and a comfortable home atmosphere.

Preferred areas: Hulme (M15), Manchester City Centre, Oxford Road and nearby areas, with good access to Manchester Met.

Budget: £650–£800 pcm, preferably with bills included.
Move-in date: 12 October 2026.

I'm responsible, tidy and respectful. I'm a funded PhD researcher.

I'm planning to arrange viewings for shortly after I arrive in Manchester and would be happy to speak beforehand if the room looks like a good match.
