Room for a PhD Student near King's Building Campus

Hi everyone! I'm Anika Mittal (Female, 23 Years) from India. I'll be joining the University of Edinburgh this September as a PhD student in Biological Sciences.

I'll be based at the King's Buildings campus, so I'm looking for a room or flat preferably within walking distance, or a short and convenient bus connections to the campus.

A little about me: I'm friendly, respectful, and easygoing. I enjoy getting to know the people I live with, but I also really value a calm, tidy home where everyone has their own space and privacy.

Before this, I spent a year in Japan for my master's, which made be comfortable in sharing a home with people from different cultures and background.

I'm looking to share with 1–3 female flat mates, ideally University of Edinburgh students, though I'm also happy to live with young professionals.

I've also recently connected with another PhD student from India who'll also be joining the University of Edinburgh this September. We're considering renting together if we come across a two-bedroom flat (or a flat with two rooms available), so I'm open to either a spare room in a shared apartment for myself or a two-bedroom apartment that would work for both of us.
