Looking for a buddy up / flatshare in September!

Hello!

I’m Olivia, recently graduated in geography from UCL and currently in my first year on a grad scheme working in policy (started last October 2025). I’ve been based in Manchester this year but I’ll be starting a new role based in Edinburgh on this scheme at the start of October, so looking for a buddy up / flatshare to move some time in September ahead of this! I usually work from the office 3 days a week, then wfh 2 days. I’m open to different areas of Edinburgh so long as they’re easily commutable to around Waverley Station, where my office will be. I do also have a car (luckily a hybrid so no issues with the LEZ), so happy to chauffeur you around for a big food shop but means I’ll need a flat with parking / able to get a parking permit.

Outside of work, I really enjoy reading, knitting (current project is a little dog), walking around in search of cute cafes, or a nice cosy night in a pub (also love a pub quiz though I am incredibly bad at them). I also recently became the proud owner of a national trust membership, so usually spend my weekends wandering around different properties (can’t beat a national trust second hand bookshop!)

I’ve been in different flatshares with both friends and strangers for 4 years now, so have lots of experience sharing a space. I’m clean and like to keep my space tidy, and I’d love to be able to have a nice chat, movie night, or split a bottle of wine sometimes but really value and respect time alone too!
