Looking for a room, preferably in South London

My name is Jessica, I'm a 29 years old student from the University of Bologna, and in October I'll be lucky enough to spend a few months in London as a visiting researcher at Goldsmiths University in order to carry out research for my thesis dissertation. I'm studying contemporary art and my field of interest is artistic practices related to climate change and how they can impact the viewers.

My biggest passions and interests are connected to art, archaeology and literature, but I also like music, cinema, cooking and baking, taking care of plants, going on long walks in nature and I am quite fond of any kind of animal life.

I'm very respectful of other people's spaces and silence, I'm sociable but I like listening to others rather than talking, although I can be very talkative if I click with the right people.

I don't smoke, I drink occasionally and rarely more than just a drink, and in my attempt to be more sustainable to the environment I can say I'm pretty much vegetarian/vegan.

Being a student with a disadvantaged economic background, I'm looking for accommodation that is as cheap as possible, and I'm happy to stay in a warm bed, store my clothes in a medium sized wardrobe and have a small desk. I would prefer to have my own room and not share with others. It's essential to me to have access to the kitchen as I would prefer not to have too many take aways.

I have been living on my own for the past few years, and I like doing the shopping, cleaning and keeping spaces as tidy as possible, so I would appreciate if I could find flatmate who are on the same page.
