Urgently looking for accommodation near Edinburgh

My name is Travis, as said above, with a second name of Malcolm. I am not stating my surname, as it is really distinctive. I hail from the North of England, but I have been living in the Northern Isles, which is not ideal, and I would like a reprieve. I am a trans man, and I am aiming to do an Access to Languages course at Edinburgh College Sighthill. As such, I am looking for a place where it would be cheap/easy to get to Sighthill, a challenge that currently seems insurmountable. However, I can live in a hovel. I have been saving for the last half a year, from a job as a housekeeper, and when I quit I am never doing that again, but I like to keep my own surroundings clean and tidy. I am a gamer, but I typically do not play online games. I occasionally sew, but only badly. I listen to music, but I use headphones, so it shouldn't be too irritating to anyone else, just me. I am looking to not share accommodation with people who are going to be unpleasant, such as transphobes. Other than that, I cannot think of any character traits that would be a dealbreaker. I am not an organiser. I am a follower. I would aim to be a pillar of support in at least some manner, but I will not be able to figure out a solution to any big problems. If all this sounds agreeable, which to me seems doubtful, please consider working with me to further your own goals.
