Looking for a nice flat share or to buddy up

Hi, I’m Ellie. I’m 31 and work in business operations, with a mix of office and work-from-home days. I’m looking either for a room in a friendly existing female only flatshare or to buddy up with one or two other women, ideally around a similar age, to find a lovely two- or three-bedroom flat together.

I’m friendly, easy-going and sociable, and I’d really like to live somewhere that feels like a home rather than just a collection of separate bedrooms. It would be lovely to have flatmates I can chat to in the kitchen, watch something with or occasionally go for dinner, drinks or a wander around London with, while still having plenty of independence and our own lives.

Outside work, I’m into books and films, museums and exhibitions, trying new places around London and becoming unnecessarily invested in whatever random subject has caught my attention that week. I’m equally happy having a quiet evening at home or heading out to do something at the weekend.

As a flatmate, I’m considerate, reliable and clean without being overly precious about everything looking perfect all the time. I like shared spaces to be looked after, but I also want the flat to feel relaxed and lived in. Ideally, I’m looking for a decent-sized double bedroom, a proper shared living room and a warm, comfortable household where everyone gets along naturally.

My budget is up to around £1,150 including bills. My timing is fairly flexible, and I’d much rather find the right home and people than rush into somewhere that doesn’t feel right.
