A PhD student seeks an Ensuite

I'm Qinglai, a 31-year-old male PhD student in China, but currently an academic visitor at the University of Glasgow. I'm looking for an en-suite room, available to move in from 22 August 2026, with a budget of up to £800 pcm (rent + bills). I appreciate a calm and comfortable home.

I'd describe myself as easy-going, friendly, and respectful. I'm quiet by nature, but I'm always happy to have a chat about anything, share a meal, or help out around the flat. I take shared spaces seriously, so I always keep the kitchen and living areas clean and tidy, and I do my fair share of the household chores without being asked. I mostly work from home on my research, which is quiet, desk-based work with few calls or meetings, so you'll hardly notice I'm there. I'm tidy, a non-smoker, and respectful.

My home country fully funds my academic visit with a fixed monthly stipend. So my income is stable, and I'm equally happy to pay my share of bills separately if they're not included.
