Professional Seeking Calm West London Room

Hi, I’m Michael, 32, and I’m relocating from South Africa to begin a full-time position as a personal trainer at Third Space The Whiteley in Bayswater.

I arrive in London around 28 August 2026 and would ideally move in between 28 August and 1 September. I have a signed employment contract, references and a five-year UK Ancestry visa.

I’m looking for a furnished single or double room in a clean, peaceful and respectful home, ideally within approximately 30 minutes of Bayswater by walking, cycling or a reliable early-morning bus. My preferred areas include Bayswater, Paddington, Maida Vale, Marylebone, Notting Hill, North Kensington, White City, Shepherd’s Bush, Kilburn Park and nearby areas.

My preferred budget is £800–£950 per month with bills included, although I may consider up to £1,000 for an especially suitable room with a short commute. A living room, reasonable kitchen storage and no more than four or five residents would be preferable.

I’m clean, considerate and friendly while respecting other people’s space. I’m not a party person, I don’t smoke, and I value a calm home—particularly because my work may involve early starts. I’m comfortable living with pets and enjoy fitness, nutrition, walking, culture and exploring London.

I would initially require a live video viewing of the exact room and property. I can attend an in-person viewing after arriving and would need to review the written agreement before making any payment.
