PhD Researcher Seeking Room – Oct 2026 to Sep 2027
Description:
I am a PhD student from Türkiye and will be joining the University of St Andrews as a Sponsored Researcher in the School of Chemistry for a 12-month research visit.
I am looking for a clean and comfortable furnished room in St Andrews or nearby, preferably within easy walking distance or with good public transport connections to the University.
My planned stay is from 1 October 2026 until 30 September 2027.
My maximum budget is £600 per month, preferably including bills and internet. I am looking for a single room and would also consider an en-suite room if available.
I am a responsible, tidy, quiet and respectful person. As I will mainly be in St Andrews for academic research, I am looking for a peaceful place suitable for a long-term stay.
I am happy to provide documentation confirming my Sponsored Researcher position at the University of St Andrews and any other documents or references required.
I would be pleased to hear from landlords or current tenants who have suitable accommodation available for this period.
