Seeking a room to live in

Hi! I’m 26 and moving from Dundee to Edinburgh ahead of starting my first post as a Band 5 NHS Mental Health Nurse in January. I’m looking for a double room from around November/December, ideally somewhere I can properly call home rather than just somewhere to sleep.

I have a pc set up I am bringing with me, which I would need space for in a bedroom. (Hence the double bedroom preference).
I have stayed in the same 2 bedroom flat for about 4 years. I currently live with my best friend, she’s not moving to Edinburgh so hence, the room seeking.

Things I like: the gym, gaming, marvel, skiing, swimming, spa weekends, dancing, cooking, baking, longboarding, listening to vinyl, playing chess, eating out, etc….


What you could expect living with me is:

timely cleaning (I keep to a schedule so I’m on top of things, some say neurodivergent, I say organised lol).

Always asking if extra food is needed when cooking, in case you want some.

I’m a marvel fan so whenever a new movie is out, you best believe I’m going to the cinema

My job will consist of 12.5 hour shifts, so I will leave early, be back late and straight to bed most of the time on work days.
Sometimes I enjoy doing meal prepping, but will be respectful of space in fridge/freezer- something I’m well versed with from living with my bestie.

I have lots of vinyls and a record player

I also have a couple of plants (they are alive, one could use some TLC but still alive!)

I don’t mind who I live with as long as it’s mutual respect and can live comfortably. I wouldn’t mind becoming friends and hanging out and such. (That would be a bonus!)

Also I don’t mind pets, I have the no pets on here because I currently don’t have any that would be taking with me.
