Searching for a room near King's Cross!

Hi! I’m moving to London this September to start my Master’s in Health Policy at LSHTM/LSE, and I’m looking to join an existing flat with 2–3 female flatmates!

A bit about me:
I’m in my mid-20s and have worked in healthcare for the past few years before moving to London for school. Outside of work and studying, I love working out, photography, traveling, exploring new neighborhoods, and finding new coffee shops. I’m equally happy going out and exploring London as I am staying in and binge-watching a new show. I’m social and love getting to know the people I live with, but I also really value my own space and downtime.

What I’m looking for:
• Move-in: Ideally between 13–20 September
• Budget: £800–950/month (up to £1000 after bills), ideally, but open to discussing depending on the space
• Ideally looking for a 12-14 month tenancy
• Room: Single room, furnished
• Location: Ideally within ~45 minutes of King’s Cross by walking/public transport, with an easy commute to LSHTM/LSE. Particularly interested in Islington/Angel, Chelsea, Soho, Mayfair, and surrounding areas
• Flat: Ideally hoping to join an existing flat
• Happy with a shared bathroom, but would be open to paying more for my own bathroom or w/c for health reasons
• Natural light and good storage would be a bonus, but aren’t dealbreakers
• No pets, as I’m allergic to cats
• A clean, well-kept shared space where everyone is considerate of each other
• Happy to share household responsibilities and figure out a system that works for everyone

Who I’m hoping to live with:
I’d love to live with people who are clean, respectful, social, and interested in being friends—not just flatmates! I’d be very up for grabbing coffee, exploring London, having dinner together, or occasionally going out, while also respecting that everyone needs their own space and downtime. Ideally a social and friendly flat rather than a big party house.

Since I’m moving from the US, I’m particularly interested in virtual tours/viewings and would be happy to chat or video call beforehand to see if we’d be a good fit.
