DPhil student looking for a room in Jericho / OX2

Hi! I’m Yara, a DPhil student at the University of Oxford, currently looking for a room or small studio in Oxford from September 2026 until the end of February 2027.

I’m ideally looking for somewhere in Jericho / OX2, particularly because I’m based at St Antony’s College and need to be within easy reach of the Faculty of Law as well. I’m open to both a room in a friendly house share and a small studio/annexe.

I’m looking to spend up to around £830 pcm, ideally including bills, although I’m happy to consider slightly different arrangements for the right place.

A little about me: I’m in my late 20s, originally from Jaffa, and I’m doing my DPhil at Oxford’s Centre for Criminology. I’m quiet, clean, respectful and considerate, and I’m very happy living in a shared home. I enjoy having a friendly relationship with housemates, but I also value everyone having their own space. I’m a non-smoker and have no pets.

I’ll be back in Oxford from 14 September and would be very happy to view places in person then, although I’m also happy to arrange a video call beforehand.
