Hi! I’m Jole, 31, from Italy. I’m a PhD researcher in Sociology and I’ll be moving to Edinburgh for a visiting period at the University of Edinburgh, where I’ll be working on the final stages of my PhD.

I’m friendly, easy-going and considerate, and I really value a home that feels warm and comfortable rather than just a place to sleep. I enjoy spending time with the people I live with — cooking together, having a glass of wine, going for a walk or simply chatting over a cup of tea — but I’m also independent and respectful of everyone’s space and routines.

I’m tidy and used to sharing a home, and during my time in Edinburgh I’ll be spending quite a lot of time at the university working on my thesis. Outside work, I enjoy cooking, food and wine, travelling, exploring new places, and spending time with friends.

I’ll be looking for a room from October until the end of January and would love to find a friendly, relaxed home during my time in Edinburgh.
