Graduate geologist seeking double room

Hi, I’m Jacob. I’m a recent Imperial College London geology graduate and will be starting a permanent Graduate Geologist position near Clapham Common on 24 August.

I’m looking for a double room in a friendly, clean house share, ideally within commuting distance of Clapham. My budget is around £1000 per month, preferably including bills, although I can be slightly flexible for the right place.

I will initially be living alone, but my partner is planning to move to London later this year or early next year. I’m therefore looking for somewhere that would be happy to accommodate a couple in future, subject to the landlord’s permission and any necessary checks. I’m happy to discuss a reasonable increase in rent when she moves in.

I’m clean, considerate and easy to live with. I enjoy socialising with housemates but also appreciate having my own space, particularly during the working week. I’m looking for a comfortable and relaxed home rather than a party house.
