Looking for a room in London

Hi! I’m Devany, 31, from Ireland and recently moved to London from New York. I work full-time in marketing and am now looking for somewhere to for the forseable.

I’m pretty easygoing and enjoy a good balance between having my own space and being sociable. I like going out for dinner or drinks, exploring London and seeing friends, but I’m also very happy having a quiet night in watching reality TV or reading. I’d ideally like to live with people who are friendly and actually want to get to know each other, rather than just being people who share a kitchen.

I work in marketing with my office based in Victoria, so I’m in the office most of the week and generally out during the day. Outside of work, I have a good group of friends in London and like keeping busy.

In terms of what I’m looking for, I’d love somewhere relaxed, comfortable and sociable, with people who are respectful of each other’s space but would also be up for having dinner together, watching something or grabbing a drink now and then. Ideally, I’d be living with people around a similar age who are also working and have their own routines.

My main must-haves are a clean and reasonably tidy flat, a good-sized room with natural light, decent transport links and housemates who are considerate and easy to communicate with. I’m ideally looking for somewhere furnished and would like to stay longer term.
