Aradhna, 37, PhD candidate, double room wanted
I move to London in September and am looking for a well-lit, airy double room in a safe but vibrant neighbourhood. I'd like to move in any time between 20th-25th of September, as I start a PhD programme at King's College London, from the 30th. I will divide my working week between the College campus and home.
I’m 37, from New Delhi India. I have worked as a journalist and researcher for almost 15 years in Delhi, and consider myself a working professional. I am a quiet, clean and fairly relaxed roommate who respects people’s privacy, helps maintain shared spaces and has no particular food restrictions. I also like to bake for flatmates and friends.
I hope to move in with similar such people who are up for an occasional fun hang – walks, hikes, a pub or a club night out, thrift stores and flea markets, etc.
Re references: I can ask the College for proof of enrolment and of my stipend, and my aunt is a British citizen living in London, who is happy to vouch for me.
