Friendly professional looking for a long-term home

Hi, I'm Neil. I'm a professional working full-time as a bar manager at the Filmhouse in Edinburgh, and I'm looking for a comfortable, friendly place to call home long-term.

I'm clean, considerate and respectful of other people's space. I'm sociable and always happy to have a chat, share a coffee or occasionally have a meal together, but I'm equally happy doing my own thing and appreciate that everyone needs their own space and downtime.

Outside work I'm into cinema, theatre, writing, gaming, cooking, the gym, museums and generally anything creative. I also do voice acting and writing in my spare time. I'm an animal lover, although I won't be bringing any pets with me.

I'm not looking for a party flat, but equally I don't want somewhere where everyone disappears behind their bedroom door! Ideally I'd like a relaxed, welcoming household where people get along, can have a laugh together and still respect each other's privacy.

I'm looking for a room in Edinburgh at up to around £900 per month and would ideally like somewhere I can settle rather than just a short-term stop. I'm reliable with rent and bills and happy to do my fair share around the flat.
