Quiet professional seeks room, 2 nights per week

I'm a 55-year-old software sales leader, currently based in the New Forest, and have just started a new role requiring three days a week in the office at Canary Wharf.

I'm looking for a room to rent from a private landlord for two nights a week, Monday to Wednesday or similar (happy to be flexible around your preferences).

I'm a quiet, settled, and considerate person. I keep a low profile in a household. No loud gatherings, no clutter, no drama. My interests are cooking, reading, cultural events, time outdoors, and staying active, so I tend to spend my evenings quietly occupied.

I have a preference for older, characterful properties over new builds. I appreciate a home with history and personality. I'd be equally happy renting a room in a shared professional household or from a live-in landlord, and I'm open to visiting in person first so we can both see if it's a good fit for your home and circumstances.

Given the part-time nature of my stay, I'd see this as low-impact for the right landlord. Namely, someone looking for a reliable, quiet presence a couple of nights a week rather than a full-time tenant. If it suits both parties, I'd be happy for this to be a long-term arrangement.
