Rent a studio or lets be flatmates :)

Hi everyone! I’m Aileen, a 23 year old student from Spain, and I’ll be moving to Durham in September/early October for a research traineeship at Durham University, which I’ll be doing until July 2027.

I’m currently looking for a room in a shared house or, ideally, a studio, preferably around Durham city centre, Gilesgate, Neville’s Cross or nearby areas. My budget is around £500–£800 pcm, depending on what’s included.

I’m tidy, respectful and easy-going, and I’m looking for a calm and friendly home where everyone can have their own space but also hang out together from time to time.

I’ll also be bringing my cat with me 🐈 She’s very calm, indoor-only and used to living in a flat, so I’m specifically looking for somewhere pet-friendly.
