I am an incoming international student at Newcastle University, arriving in Newcastle late on 7 September. I am looking for very short-term accommodation from the night of 7 September, ideally for 1–2 nights.

My university accommodation does not begin until 12 September, and unfortunately they are unable to offer early check-in or store my luggage before my tenancy starts. I also need to travel to Manchester for an academic event on 9 and 10 September.

I have been looking at hotels and Airbnb, but prices are currently very high, and I am looking for a more affordable option as a student.

I would be grateful for a room, spare room or other suitable accommodation for 7 and/or 8 September. I would also be interested in a short-term arrangement where I could safely leave 1 suitcase while I am away in Manchester.

I am clean, quiet and respectful, and I am happy to pay a reasonable amount for the stay. As this is my first time in the UK, I would particularly value a safe and reliable arrangement.
