Work trip to Malawi

Hi! My name is Laura. I'm moving to London this September for a one-year MSc in Development Studies at LSE, and I'm looking for a room in a flatshare, ideally in Central London or somewhere with an easy commute to LSE. I'm looking for a furnished room, available from around 20 September, with a 9-10 month lease.

A bit about me:

I'm from Colorado, USA, and work for an international NGO focused on economic development programs in Africa, Latin America, and Asia. I'm in my early 30s and love traveling and exploring new places, getting outdoors, hiking, and speaking Spanish. Ask me about how I backpacked through Latin America for a year.

I'm tidy, considerate, and easy to live with. I'll be working part-time alongside my studies, so I'll likely be fairly busy, but I'd love to live with friendly, respectful roommates who value open communication and a positive home environment.

I'm married and will be long-distance from my spouse during the year. While I'm looking for solo accommodation, he plans to visit occasionally, probably once or twice per term for a long weekend. Ideal situation is a room large enough for a double bed and flatmates who are comfortable with occasional guest visits. I'll also be traveling back to the US during school breaks.

My main priorities are a safe area, a quiet and respectful living situation, good transport links, and an easy trip to LSE, ideally near a Tube station. I'm looking to move in from 20 September (flexible) and ideally stay for 9-10 months. I'm happy to provide references from former roommates upon request.
