Moving to London to build community and creativity

This is me! Katie! Hello!

Hello! I’m Katie (she/they), and I wanna be your housemate! Rent cost, I can do £750 without bills, maxing at £850 with bills! Now, the fun stuff. I’m 24, just graduated from drama school, and am ready to build my life in the city. I’ve lived in shared housing since I was 16, so I know how to be a clean, adaptable, communicative, and respectful housemate. I will also make you a cup of tea. My basic job is waitressing and teaching dance but I am first and foremost an artist in every sense of the word, specialising as a theatre maker and choreographer, and I also do illustration. I am in the process of building my creative career, and love finding inspiration from everything in the world. I love to go on adventures (big and small), trying new activities (including roller skating and poetry slams), I adore any and every animal, discovering new art in museums and on stage, riding bikes, dancing, community building, and watching Disney films. I’m also an avid activist and care to take action in making the world a better and safer place. My cons are that I cannot bake. I just have little interest in it and when I try, it’s usually dry. But I can be your taste tester, I am very good at that.

I’m looking for a space that will allow me to connect with the house/flat/warehouse, I don’t just want four walls. I hope to have people to live with that are part of the start of my London living and continue to be throughout.
