Furnished room wanted, Nov–Jan (Cambridge MBA F)

Hi! I'm a 35-year-old American woman. I just finished my MBA at Cambridge and am looking for a *short-term furnished room from late Oct/November up through January*. No long-term commitment — this is a temporary base while I'm job hunting, so for lifestyle you can think of me as *working from home*.

About me: I'm conscientious, quiet, and genuinely easy to live with. I spent 10 years in NYC (Brooklyn), so I'm unfazed by city living but an experienced flatmate, respectful of shared spaces. I'm in my room and quiet by around 10:30pm, going to bed between then and midnight at the latest. I'm flexible about socializing — happy to do occasional housemate dinners or movie nights, or equally fine if we each do our own thing. I like cooking and I'm a big reader; into arts and crafts but haven't had time for that in a while.

What I'm looking for:

Furnished room (with a *desk or space for a desk*, or other office space in the flat)
Short term: I can move in late Oct (20)/ November through January
Location: *First choice is walking (15 min max) distance to Overground or Tube station* Anywhere up to 60 minutes direct train from Central London OR on a tube line. I'd rather have a place far out but close to the station than closer in but not walking distance to station.
Household: Women, nonbinary, or mixed-gender households. I'm not looking to be the only woman with guy(s) only. No smoking of any kind.
Neighborhood vibe: Reasonably quiet at night (but I lived happily in Brooklyn—some street noise is fine, but what I mean is 'not above a club'), safe area. Somewhere with a main street/ cafes and *third spaces to hang out outside of the apartment*, ideally with other 30-somethings around.
