Furnished room wanted, Sept–Nov (Cambridge MBA F)

Hi! I'm a 34-year-old American woman finishing my MBA at Cambridge and looking for a *short-term furnished room from mid-September through October or November*. No long-term commitment — this is a temporary base while I'm job hunting, so for lifestyle you can think of me as working from home.

About me: I'm conscientious, quiet, and genuinely easy to live with. I spent 10 years in NYC (Brooklyn), so I'm unfazed by city living but an experienced flatmate, respectful of shared spaces. I'm in my room and quiet by around 10pm, going to bed between then and midnight at the latest. I'm flexible about socializing — happy to do occasional housemate dinners or movie nights, or equally fine if we each do our own thing. I like cooking and I'm a big reader; into arts and crafts but haven't had time for that in a while.

What I'm looking for:

Furnished room (ideally with a desk, but any workspace in the apartment for my laptop works)
Short term: mid Sept. through Oct. or Nov.
Location: Anywhere up to 90 minutes direct train from London OR on a tube line. Walking distance to the main station is my first choice; bikeshare or own bike distance also ok (please specify). Same goes for getting to a grocery store.
Household: Women, nonbinary, or mixed-gender households. I'm not looking to be the only woman with guy(s) only. No smoking of any kind.
Neighborhood vibe: Reasonably quiet at night (but I lived happily in Brooklyn), safe area. Somewhere with a main street/ cafes and third spaces to hang out outside of the apartment, ideally with other 30-somethings around.
