American/British Professional Seeking Flat

Hello! My name is Sebastian and have recently moved to the Manchester area from Florida. I am a dual American/British citizen with a UK passport and a lifelong fondness for England. I am actively job searching as I only just arrived, but I have moved with substantial savings and can very comfortably pay my way through my search. I am currently staying in an AirBNB while I look for a more permanent setup.

On the personal side, I am an avid reader and writer, I game, cook, bake on occasion, and I am very excited to visit a pub again. I’m a bit of a night owl and I enjoy socializing but no one’s ever accused me of being a party animal. I would be more than happy to bribe any potential flatmates with baked goods. My flourless chocolate torte is excellent, if I do say so myself. I am also desperate to get back into the gym!

Professionally, I’m hoping to get involved in either government or finances. The former to finally make use of my political science degree, and the latter to leverage experience from my last position in mortgage services.

In terms of what I’m looking for, I’m hoping to find a place near to public transit and with plenty nearby to walk to. I would like space enough in my room to fit a desk and office chair but otherwise I’m not picky. I’m hoping to get situated by the beginning of November but I have some flexibility there. Looking forward to attending some viewings!
