Looking for a room in Glasgow central or Southside

I’m moving to Glasgow to start an art course, find some purpose in something creative rather than the usual grind. I’ll be there a minimum of 6 months, maybe longer it just depends how things go.

I am a fully grown adult woman desperately in need of a change of scenery (I’ve been living in drab and dreary York for the past 4.5 years where u own a house). I’ve lived with people most of my adult life prior to York so know how to live respectfully/tidily/considerately. I’ve travelled a lot, worked in different sectors and have a wide variety of friends all over the country/world.

I’m sociable but also understand the need for downtime. I’m out and about a lot with the dog but also like to watch films and hunker down, particularly in winter. I work from home but will be out a lot doing the art course as it comes with studio space I’ll be renting. I like walking, foraging, art, fashion, dancing, socialising, fretting on the state of the world, travelling, epic wild camping trips in the north west of Scotland.

Also need: parking space, furnished, ideally ensuite, ideally near park or garden as I have a lovely small dog (Patsy) who’s hypoallergenic - I can pay extra deposit if there is concern about her causing mess but she’s very well behaved. Dog will go to day care when I’m at the studio.

Can be flexible on move-in date/can pay to secure it’s just important I find a decent place for me and Pats.
