Friendly visiting scholar looking for a room

Hi! I’m a visiting scholar from China, working in engineering, and I’ll be based in Cambridge from 1 October 2026 until the end of September 2027.

I’m looking for a room in a friendly and welcoming shared house, ideally within around a 25-minute walk of the Engineering Department. I’m open to different areas as long as the location is convenient for commuting.

I’m a tidy, respectful and easy-going person. I enjoy cooking, exercise, music and exploring new places. I’d love to live with friendly and kind housemates and have a comfortable, relaxed home environment where everyone respects each other’s space.

I’m looking for a furnished room and would ideally like an ensuite, although I’m also happy to consider a room with a shared bathroom.
