Hi! I’m 30, Welsh and I have two guinea pigs (aka “The Boys”).
I’ve just started working at UWE Bristol. I’m looking for a room in a friendly, relaxed house share, ideally from the end of September, with a budget of around £700 pcm (ideally bills inc) but I am willing to pay more if conditions suit.

I’m a friendly, clean, respectful and considerate person, and I’d love to find a house that feels like a home rather than just somewhere to sleep. I’m sociable and would really enjoy living with people who are up for doing things together now and again — whether that’s pub quizzes, days out, meals out, gigs, craft evenings or just grabbing a drink and having a catch-up. That said, I also really value having my own space and downtime, so I’m equally happy spending an evening reading, crocheting or playing on my Switch.

I’m quite crafty and love crocheting, particularly making amigurumi animals. I also play netball once a week and I’m hoping to get a bit more active and try some new things. I enjoy solo travel, but I’m definitely not opposed to new adventures and exploring Bristol with new housemates.

I have two guinea pigs (“The Boys”) who will be coming with me. They’re currently kept in my bedroom and that’s the setup I’d be looking to continue, so they wouldn’t be taking over the communal areas! I also have a partner who I’d like to be able to have visit occasionally.

I’m pretty open-minded when it comes to housemates — gender doesn’t bother me at all. Ideally, I’d be living with other professionals or people around a similar stage of life, mainly because I’d like a house that’s friendly and sociable without feeling like I’ve accidentally become the grandma of the house 😂
I’m not looking for a party house, but I’d love housemates who are up for the occasional pub quiz, meal out, day trip, film night or spontaneous plan. Equally, I’m very respectful of people having their own routines and needing time to themselves.

Ultimately, I’m looking for a clean, comfortable and welcoming home with people who are friendly, considerate and up for getting along — somewhere we can have a laugh and make the occasional plan together, but without any pressure to be social 24/7.
