Australian professional moving to Dundee

Hi! I’m Diyana, I’m 31 and moving from Adelaide, Australia to Dundee in early November on a two-year Youth Mobility visa.

I currently work as a research librarian and also casually at my local public library, and I’ll be looking for similar work once I arrive in Scotland.

I’m friendly, considerate, clean and pretty easy-going. I would love to live with someone I can have a chat or a cup of coffee with, occasionally share a meal or watch something together, while also really valuing my own space and downtime. I’m hoping to find somewhere that feels like a home rather than simply renting a room.

Outside of work I love reading, writing, walking and hiking, exploring new places, music, good coffee and generally being outdoors. I’m not much of a party person and tend to prefer quieter nights at home or catching up with friends.

I’m looking for a furnished room in Dundee from early November, ideally sharing with another woman/women around a similar stage of life. As I’ll initially be arranging things from Australia, I’m very happy to video call and can provide references or any other information needed.
