Rural annexe/farm cottage wanted – Shropshire

Mature healthcare professional seeking a long-term rural rental for myself and my 18-year-old daughter, available from November onwards.

💷 Maximum £650 pcm INCLUDING BILLS

We are looking for somewhere a little different – ideally a self-contained annexe, small cottage, farm outbuilding, converted building or rural property. We are not particularly concerned if somewhere needs a little TLC and would be very happy to make it our own.

I would also be very interested in an arrangement where I could help around the property in return for a reduced rent, including:

🐾 Animal care
🐑 Helping with farming duties
🌱 Gardening and outdoor maintenance
🏡 Pet/house sitting
🔨 General practical help

I am a reliable, responsible healthcare professional in permanent NHS employment and am looking for somewhere we can settle for the longer term.

We have two well-behaved outdoor cats, so the property needs to be pet-friendly and preferably not situated on a busy/main road. Both cats are microchipped, vaccinated and neutered, and references can be provided.

📍 Particularly interested in Shrewsbury, Shifnal, Albrighton and anywhere along the A5/M54 corridor, although I am open to other suitable rural locations in Shropshire.

I would especially love to hear from anyone with an unused annexe, farm cottage, converted outbuilding or similar accommodation that isn't necessarily being advertised as a conventional rental.
