Looking for a flat or House Share :)

Hi everyone, my name is Jéssica 😊.

I am 28 years old and moving to Manchester in 04th September to start my PhD at the University of Manchester.

I am looking for a spacious double room with an en-suite bathroom in a clean, comfortable and friendly house/flat share. I’m also open to buddying up to find a place together.

A budget of 800 pcm max, including bills.

I’m very tidy, organised and considerate, and I really value a clean, calm and well-kept home. I’m used to shared living and appreciate people who look after communal spaces and respect each other’s routines and privacy.

I’m sociable but definitely enjoy my own space too. I love going out for food and drinks, travelling, exploring new places, discovering good music and attending events, but I’m equally happy with a cosy night in, takeaway and a good film. I’d love to live with someone who’s up for being social occasionally but also has their own life.

I’m very much into all things DIVA, beauty, fashion, makeup, skincare, self-care and cosmetic formulation. I love making a space feel like home too, with candles, nice lighting, plants, books and a bit of personality.

I’m also keen to get back into the gym , swiming and boxing. Also very open to pilates, so an active buddy would be a bonus! I’m looking forward to exploring Manchester, meeting new people and making the most of university and city life.

I’m happy having friends over occasionally and would want that to work both ways, with communication and consideration.

I’m looking for a long-term home (1–2 years, potentially longer) and would really like to find a household where we naturally get along. I’d prefer to view the property and meet the household before deciding.

One important preference: I’m specifically looking for a **non-smoking, pet-free household**. I completely respect that pets are part of many people’s homes, but I’m looking for a home without pets or smoking.
