Couple looking for a room - October 26 to June 27

Hi! We are a Brazilian couple moving to Leeds in October 2026 and we are looking for a comfortable place to stay for the duration of our time in the UK.

I am a PhD researcher at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (Brazil) and will be joining the University of Leeds as a visiting research student from October 2026 to June 2027. My partner is a History teacher.

We are non-smokers, tidy, clean and very sociable/ easygoing. We have lived together for many years now, but also sharing the house with friends. Actually, we really like to live with other people and spend time together :)

What we are looking for:

Double room
Suitable for a couple
Tenancy from around October 2026 to June 2027
(We are also considering a short-therm tenancy of one to three months)

Ideally within reasonable distance of the University of Leeds / city centre

Good heating is important to us

Budget around £600–£650 per month, preferably including bills
