Creative professional looking for a friendly home
PLEASE NOTE: I'm not looking for live-in landlord households.
My name is Diana, 34, working full-time in hospitality, currently in pastry, and outside of work I’m an animator, illustrator and writer.
I have a BA in Animation and run my own small creative company, where I develop my artwork, animation and writing projects.
I’ve also recently published my first poetry book.
I am from Romania, raised in Italy, interested in different cultures and languages. I can speak Romanian, Italian, English, Spanish, Korean, a bit of Japanese, Mandarin and German.
I’d particularly love to find a creative household, warehouse community or live/work-style home with artists, musicians, designers, makers or other creative people.
I’m also completely open to a normal friendly shared house if the atmosphere and people are right.
I’m clean, considerate and independent, but I genuinely enjoy having a sense of community at home. I love cooking, drawing, writing, music and occasionally sharing meals or hanging out with housemates.
At the same time, I respect everyone’s privacy and I’m perfectly happy doing my own thing.
Because I work in hospitality, my schedule can vary and I sometimes finish later than a traditional 9–5, so I’m looking for a household that’s comfortable with different working schedules.
Ideally I’m looking around areas well connected to Central London via underground, DLR, or train with a budget of around £550–£800 per month including bills.
A good-sized double room with space for a desk would be ideal.
I’m hoping to find somewhere I can genuinely settle and feel at home rather than simply rent a room.
