Prof male seeking en-suite nr Central line

I’m a 42-year-old professional relocating to the Woodford area for work and looking for a comfortable double room or flat share buddy up from around 17 October, initially for a minimum of six months.

I’ll be working full-time in mostly in Woodford, but sometimes Mile-End and Whitechapel so I am ideally looking around South Woodford, Woodford Green, Chigwell, Wanstead, Redbridge or nearby areas with good access to the Central line.

I’m looking for a double room with either an en-suite or my own bathroom. I don't mind sharing a bathroom if there is only 1 other person. My budget is around £1,000 pcm, ideally including bills, although I can be a little flexible for the right place. I’ll also have a car, so parking or on-street parking nearby would be helpful.

A little about me: I’m friendly, easy-going, clean and considerate. I’m a mixture of sociable and independent. I’m very happy chatting with housemates, watching TV together, going out for a drink or doing things socially, but I also enjoy having some time to myself. My partner lives in Spain so we spend a lot of evenings on the phone. I’m looking for somewhere that feels like a home rather than simply renting a room.

I’m a gay man but I don’t specifically need an LGBT household, but I am looking for a home where everyone is comfortable and accepting.

I’m happy to live with any gender and don’t particularly mind the age mix. Pets are absolutely fine, although I’d prefer them not to be in my bedroom. I’m also fine living with smokers provided smoking is outside rather than in the house.

Ideally I’d like somewhere within reasonable walking distance of a Tube station, with local shops and amenities nearby.

I’m reliable, respectful of other people’s space and looking for a relaxed, friendly household where everyone can feel comfortable at home.
