Looking for a place to call home 🏡

Hi! I’m Alok, a working professional and Electronics design engineer. I’m currently looking for a room in a friendly, clean and respectful professional household where I can genuinely feel at home.

I’m looking for a house with people who keep the place tidy, are social and enjoy spending time together, but also understand and respect each other’s personal space. I’d love a home where we might occasionally cook or have dinner together, watch a movie, have a chat over a cup of tea, or just hang out without the expectation that we have to socialise all the time.

Outside work, I’m quite active. I train regularly in calisthenics/streetlifting, so if you’re into calisthenics and fancy having a training partner, that would definitely be a bonus! I also enjoy bouldering, hiking, yoga and meditation. I’m always up for trying a new activity or exploring somewhere outdoors.

I work as an Electronics design engineer and usually work from the office, as my role involves quite a bit of hands-on lab work. So I’m away during most weekdays during day time and am not someone who will be working from home all days.

In my downtime, I enjoy watching movies and occasionally playing games on the PS. If you’re into gaming, I’m always happy to have a friendly Tekken battle ,although I make no promises about letting you win 😂

I’m also someone who really values good sleep, so I’m looking for a reasonably quiet and respectful home, particularly during late hours.

And one important thing - I come with lots of plants! 🌱 So if you’re also a plant person, that’s definitely a bonus. I’d love to live somewhere where I can keep them happy and add a bit of greenery to the home.

I’m a non-smoker and would ideally prefer a non-smoking household.
