Looking for short term let

Hello!! I am moving to London for work (start date 10th November). I am Irish but have lived in Edinburgh for the past 10 years. Looking for something short term or flexible as I want to scope areas out before I commit to a long term flat. Ideally 2-4 months from start Nov.

I have a few friends in Streatham Hill & Clapham, so ideally want to be no more than a 30-40 min walk from there, or 20 mins on public transport. My office is also near St James Park, so don't want my commute to be > hour.

I’ll be in office 4 days a week. I like my week day routine (exercise etc), but always love a wee pint at the weekend. Big fan of music, gigs, exploring, coffee walks - the usual 28 y/o things!
