Handy engineer relocating to Edinburgh

About me

I'm Hamza, relocating to Edinburgh for a senior engineering role. Currently transitioning into the next phase of my career. I'm handy genuinely useful if things break and I can cook and clean properly (everyone should be able to do this thought I should mention it). Have a car too, so happy to sort shared grocery runs if needed.

How I live

Early riser, gym most mornings, then work. Quiet during the week but genuinely sociable, I'll chat over dinner or a film, easy to get on with. I hike whenever the weather permits, actually moving to Edinburgh partly for that.

That said, I respect when people need their own space and expect the same. I'm disciplined about keeping common areas clean and sorted, and I value flatmates who take that seriously too.

What I'm looking for

Steady placement, minimum 3 months, maximum 24 months. Moving within the next 6-8 weeks. I'm reliable with rent, can provide references, and pay upfront. Looking for flatmates who are grounded, can have a laugh, but aren't drama balanced people who get that living together means respecting boundaries. Also run a YouTube content side project, but nothing that impacts housemates no filming in shared spaces, no noise issues.
