Looking for a home for me (and my bike!)

I just moved to London, I am taking a sabbatical from working for over 10 years at large humanitarian NGO to do a one year MSc at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (the course is quite full on Monday - Thursday 9 - 5 and then Friday 9 to 2PM). I will have the opportunity to stay on in London after my degree and I am strongly considering it.

I am originally from Montreal, but I have lived abroad for over 10 years so quite used to shared spaces - I am very clean, organized and I am looking for a place that feels like home, not just a room in a flat.

A little more about me!
I am really interested in photography, I love to cycle and swim and in general be outdoors. I am also a big reader and dabble in knitting. Although I have previously lived in London for a year, it was a long time ago and I am really looking forward to getting to know the city again..

I do have a road bike with me that cannot be left outdoors. So I do need a secure to store it in the building /the flat or my room.
