30, Swedish postdoc at LSE, looking for a room

Hi, I’m Daniel, 30, from Sweden. I’m moving to London in October to start a postdoc at LSE, and I’m looking for a room from 1 October. Ideally somewhere fairly central with an easy commute to LSE, with a budget of around £1,000 including bills.

I’m pretty easy-going and sociable, but also happy doing my own thing. I’m tidy and respectful of shared spaces, and I’m definitely up for the occasional drink, dinner or hanging out with housemates.

Outside work I play football regularly, so I’ll be looking to find a team or some people to play with in London. I also follow F1 fairly closely and enjoy going to the pub, watching sport or just having a quiet evening at home. I like to cook, chili con carne probably being my go-to.

I’ve lived in London for a few months before, so I’m not completely new to the city, but I’m looking forward to being back and exploring more of it. I’ll be at LSE for at least two years, so I’m ideally looking for somewhere that can work for the longer term, although my immediate priority is finding somewhere for October.

Happy to live with other professionals or a mixed household, mainly just looking for somewhere friendly, clean and relaxed.
