Looking for a room to rent in North/East London

Hi, I'm Machaela - Irish, moved to London a little while ago for work, and now on the hunt for a place to properly settle into.

I work at Too Good To Go, in the Shoreditch office three days a week, so I'm around plenty but not glued to a desk all week. I already have a good social circle here, so I'm not looking for housemates to be my whole social life - just genuinely enjoy a friendly, easy-going home. I'll head back to Ireland to see family and friends every 6–8 weeks, so I'm not someone who's constantly around, but when I am, I'm happy to chat over dinner, join a house hangout, or just as happily disappear into my room with a book - I'm the type who properly gets sucked into whatever I'm reading.

Big foodie - I love cooking, trying new places to eat, and I'm always up for a pint of Guinness with friends at the weekend. I do yoga 2–3 times a week and love a swim, sauna, or cold plunge to balance it out.
