Double ensuite room or buddy up

Hi! I’m Mano, an events and travel consultant, also working part time as a Business Development Manager. I’m looking for a calm, homely place to settle into from mid to late November, and I’d be coming with Jazz, my gentle senior cat.

About me
I’m sociable but calm and easygoing, and I value a peaceful, relaxed home. I work hybrid, so I’m home a few days a week and out the rest. I’m clean, tidy and genuinely considerate of other people’s space and privacy. Happy to chat over dinner or share a glass of wine, and equally happy for everyone to do their own thing.

Evenings usually mean nice easy music, a film, or cooking something nice with a glass of wine. I love plants and think they turn a flat into a warm, cosy home rather than just a shared space, so expect a few green additions.

I occasionally smoke and vape, but never in shared spaces. I keep it to my own room by an open window, and since I don’t like a smoky-smelling room myself, I’m careful to keep things fresh and well aired. Also I have an air purifier due to my allergies.

I’m LGBTQ+ friendly and happy to live with people from all backgrounds.

About Jazz
Jazz is a calm, quiet senior cat whose main hobby is napping in sunny spots. No midnight sprints around the flat, no chaos, just a low-key companion. He’s a bit of a scaredy cat about silly things, so apart from the odd curious peek, he won’t be bugging you. He’s combed and cleaned often by me. [Neutered, vaccinated, indoor, litter trained.]

What I’m looking for
- An ensuite double room in a 2 bed flat, sharing with one other person
- Or a like-minded female to buddy up with and find a place together
- A peaceful, pet-friendly household that feels like a real home

I’ve lived on my own in Kentish Town North for the past two and a half years and am only moving because my landlord is renovating the property. My previous landlords are all happy to provide excellent references. I’ve really fallen for the area, with its vibrant, creative, young crowd and charming pubs, bars and restaurants. It feels like a real neighbourhood so I’d love to stay in or close to Kentish Town, though I’m also open to other areas with a similar feel.
