Easygoing media professional seeking homely room

Hi! I'm Josh, 35, I’m a media professional, lived in London for 8 years, looking for a new place to call home for the next 12 months or so, as my current 4-year lodger arrangement is coming to an end, as my landlord’s circumstances have changed and no longer needs a lodger.

I'm after a comfortable, homely place with one or two flatmates at most. I'd like a home where people say hello in the kitchen, share the odd meal or a film night, but also respect each other's space.

I work hybrid, so in the office 2-3 days a week and the same working from home, so I’d ideally like somewhere with a big enough bedroom to fit a desk and enough space to move around still.

A bit about me:
*Artsy type, love theatre and comedy, also do a bit of theatre tour guiding as a side hustle
* Clean and tidy without being fussy
* Pretty sociable, but for me that’s more ‘a couple of beers at an old pub’, meeting friends for board games, or going to a show or exhibition, rather than clubbing
* Keen traveller, and sometimes travel for work, so I'm always up for swapping tips and stories
* Into films, comedy, pub quizzes, coffee, food (especially cheese)
* Non-smoker, Mon-Fri professional, no pets. Allergic to cats, fine with dogs
What I'm looking for:
* Ideally a room around Crystal Palace, West Norwood, Sydenham, Dulwich, Streatham, Beckenham areas, with train links to London Bridge or Blackfriars. I’ve lived in Crystal Palace for 4 years and really like the area, so somewhere around these parts would be lovely. I’ve built up a rapport with lots of local coffee shops and I don’t want that to have gone to waste!
* My current lodger agreement ends at the end of the year, but ideally would like to find somewhere before December so I can de-stress over Christmas. I need to give my landlord 4 weeks notice.
