New to Hammersmith job, buddy up for Ealing/Acton

Hi, I’m Shahid! 👋

I’ve just started a new role at an AI company in Hammersmith, so I’m swapping Sutton for somewhere a little closer to the office (and a lot closer to an extra half hour in bed). I’m looking for a room in a friendly flatshare, or a couple of like-minded people to rent a 2–3 bed together, in Ealing, Acton, Chiswick or Shepherd’s Bush, moving in from 1 December.

A bit about me: I work office hours, so my weekday evenings usually involve cooking something good, playing a probably unreasonable amount of badminton, getting lost in a book or a film, and generally winding down. I’m a total sucker for coffee, especially filter coffee, so expect the kitchen to smell amazing most mornings. I also make a mean (and mean tasty) cocktail, which I’d argue is a very underrated flatmate quality.

I’m tidy, easy-going and fully on board with a cleaning rota. I’m up for the odd flat dinner or weekend exploring trip, but I also really respect everyone having their own space. (And if you ever need a pair of ears, I’m a genuinely good listener: literally two steps and one knock away.) Always happy to talk movies, books and life itself.

What I’m looking for in flatmates? Honestly, just kindness. That’s all the criteria we need in this life.

The boring-but-important bit: stable salary, references ready to go, and a UK guarantor if needed, so referencing won’t hold anything up on my side.
