Two friends looking for 2 rooms/ 2 bed flat

My friend and I, aged 21 and 23, are looking for somewhere to call home. We’re both recent graduates currently working in retail while searching for opportunities in our respective fields.

We’re looking to move in around the first week of November, although we could be flexible and move later in the month for the right place.

Ideally, we’re looking for two furnished bedrooms in a flat or house, or a two-bedroom flat of our own. Our budget is around £700–£800 per person per month, preferably including bills, and we’d ideally like a private bathroom or en-suite if possible.

Location-wise, London is our main preference, but we’re also open to suitable options around Colchester and Chelmsford. Good public transport links are essential, as neither of us drive, so being reasonably close to a train station or other reliable transport would be a big plus.

As flatmates, we’re friendly, tidy and considerate. We enjoy socialising but also appreciate having our own space, so we’d love to find a home with a relaxed, sociable atmosphere where everyone respects each other’s privacy. We’re both non-smokers and don’t have pets.

Our main priorities are finding somewhere clean, comfortable and reasonably priced, with a good location and flatmates we can get along with.
