Student looking for a room from Jan to Aug

Hello! I'm a recent graduate residing in Miami and will be moving to London for postgraduate studies at the Royal College of Art.

I'm looking for a no-frills single or double room to stay in from the first week of January to the last week of August preferably located in the vicinity of White City or Battersea. I'm also open to staying in areas that are only a 30-min commute away from said districts.

My budget is £800 per month with bills included, but I'm eager to look for cheaper options when possible.

I prefer to stay in a simple, cozy, and quiet flat since I'll be spending most of my days on campus, but I'd love to socialize with my future flatmates when there's an opportunity. I don't smoke nor drink, and I'm keen on keeping spaces organized and tidy. On my free days, I like to travel--go to trendy cafes, museums, or events. If I'm not outside, I'm probably spending my day reading a book or oversleeping.

It's not possible for me to be in London before January, so I'm open to conducting the due diligence through a virtual viewing or a local viewing service.
