Room Wanted! - Travel Marketing professional

I'm Lauren!

I'm looking for a room in a friendly, all-girl flatshare in London. I'm starting my dream job at the beginning of January, so ideally looking to move in around the end of December / early January 🎉

I'll be starting my first postgrad job as a Marketing Executive at a Travel and Tourism Marketing agency based in Bromley (with no working from home!), so I'll be commuting out of London. Ideally, I'd love to live around Battersea, London Bridge or Victoria, but I'm very open to other areas depending on the flat and the people!

I'm originally from a small town between Nottingham and Derby, so I'm used to having the best of both worlds between the city and countryside. I have a one-year-old cocker spaniel (pictured in photo 6 🥹), who sadly won't be moving to London with me. I currently live with my mum and little brother and, since moving home after uni, I've somehow become the chef and cleaner of the household 😂

I've spent the past four years living in flat and house shares and absolutely loved it! I graduated in July from the University of East Anglia with a degree in Marketing and Management, and spent three of those years living with my girls. We had a lovely balance of having our own space to work and do our own thing, but also coming together in the evenings for dinner, a catch-up or some YouTube/TV time. We were also big on keeping communal spaces clean, whether that was tidying the kitchen after dinner or having a weekly weekend clean.

I also spent a year abroad studying in Rome, Italy, which was incredible (as you can imagine 🌎). I love travelling and have visited eight countries in 2026. I'm always up for an excuse for a weekend away or a longer trip!

Outside of work, I enjoy going for walks, the occasional run, and Pilates, although I'm always open to trying new fitness classes. I love cooking and sharing food with others, so I'm more than happy to cook or bake for future housemates! I'm also quite an organised person (everything has its place, despite definitely owning far too many clothes) and love ending the day with a clean and tidy space.

I'm equally happy with a wholesome evening in, cooking or ordering a takeaway and watching a film, as I am going out for dinner and drinks, heading to a cosy pub, or even a night out. I'm pretty easy-going when it comes to socialising and love a good balance of both!

I'm 22 (April birthday), single and really excited to start this next chapter in London. I'd love to find a flat that feels like a home, with girls who are also up for becoming friends rather than just living together ❤️
