27 year old professional seeks big room

I'm a 27-year-old professional (Executive Officer in the Civil Service). Nearly 28!

I'm looking for a room within 20 minutes walk from the city centre, with relatively quiet but friendly housemates.

Ideally I'd like to move in any time before 3 December, and to stay around a year or two.

In my spare time I read, play badminton and play board games with friends. I tend to choose hiking holidays, like the Lake District which is near where some of my family lives.

I don't have pets, I don't smoke. I'd very strongly prefer somewhere where tenants don't smoke.

My budget can stretch more if the room is particularly impressive, 800-900 is a ballpark estimate.
