32 year old looking for a fresh start

Recently separated from my partner and need to move out of our flat by the end of June. Not had a flat share in a while but would be open to living with the right person.

I’m a bar manager and am studying part time to be a counsellor. I work shifts so can often finish after midnight- but my days of late night drinking and afters are long gone.

In my spare time I like to play video games, board games, go to pub quizzes with friends, and I’m a big Arsenal fan so try to plan around their matches.

I am coeliac so need to eat gluten free. The kitchen itself doesn’t need to be free from gluten though, as long as I don’t eat gluten containing ingredients I will be fine. I have my own appliances, however, and would appreciate these not being contaminated.

I’d be keen to be friendly with any potential flatmate and to engage in some form of semi-regular socialising- even just saying hi for 10-15 mins after work, or cooking together. I have lived in flats before where the other person just sits in their room all the time and never engaged with me. While I appreciate people need their space (as I often do too), if you aren’t someone who wants to play a game or watch a film or have a chat over a drink then I don’t think we’d be right for each other. It’s very important to me that I can relax in my home, and having to worry about you as I never see you is not conducive to that.
