Seeking a move to the South West

Hello. A few years ago I made some lifestyle changes, selling my property, downsizing and moving into rented property. I'd now like to take another step, downsize even further, and move to my favourite part of theUK, the South West. Either Devon or Cornwall.

I am technically retired (from teaching, then a second career in psychotherapy/mentoring work) but I still do some developmental and therapeutic work. I also write about wellbeing via the natural world and facilitate wellbeing activities.

My preference is for a quiet and rural or coastal West Country location - it doesn't have to be in the two major towns listed for website purposes. I'll consider a variety of areas if other boxes are ticked.

In terms of my indoor requirements, I need a desk (or space for one) and a reliable internet connection for my work. I also prefer a private bathroom. Access to a garden would be lovely too (and I enjoy gardening if you need a hand!).

I am on a strict budget, so looking to pay max £800pcm, with all bills included, but I am very frugal with resources for environmental as well as financial reasons. Also, I hardly ever cook and will be out and about quite a lot during the day.

I like to think I'm open to age, gender, race, sexual orientation, those kind of things, but I'm very quiet myself and therefore want a quiet household. I'm happy to chat or share a meal or something occasionally, but on the hermit/party animal spectrum, I'm well at the hermit end!
