Friendly prof looking for room from 1 July 2026

I am a very tidy, clean, considerate person looking for a room in a house share with professionals close to transport links.

I am easy going, very sociable, friendly and want to live with people / a person who is likeminded.

I am young at heart but responsible and sensible and people always tell me I dont look my age and so would not want to be discounted because of it - as most people seem to only want to rent to people who are a max of 35.

I love animals, especially dogs, so having any pets around would not be a problem.

I would like the house I live in to be well looked after - ie clean and I don't mind taking an equal turn in house cleaning duties. I would appreciate if people could be considerate in terms of noise late into the night as I would be for them.

I would need internet provision as would occasionally need to work from home.

I don't want a single or studio room, a large double would be more preferable. I would also like the possibility of having friends over for dinner or coffee sometimes.

If people smoke outside the house I would not have a problem with living with smokers but if people smoke in the house then it wont be for me. I have good references to offer from my current landlord if required.

I need a large double room from approx 1 July onwards, but could secure a property earlier if needed.

I am currently temping in Hertfordshire and London as an Executive Assistant while looking for a permanent job.

I do get some assistance from Universal Credit to be totally honest - but am working very hard to get a permanent role as soon as possible.
